A man has reportedly stabbed her sleeping daughter to death. Cletus Aguluka, 60, was said to have returned home, drunk on Wednesday night, 30th of May 2018 and asked her daughter to give him his torchlight. His daughter and her siblings claimed they didn’t know where the torch was and the man ignored them and went to bed only to wake up at 1am, picked a knife a stabbed her sleeping daughter to death. The incident is said to have thrown the members of his community, Ndiagu Igboezue in Osikwu village, Awgbu, Orumba North LGA area of Anambra State into confusion. The siblings of the victim, Sochima and Chidera said they sensed danger when their father went to bed and left the house. His wife, Georgina Agukuka who was obviously in pains for the loss of her daughter narrated her ordeal in the hands of her husband, Cletus, saying he would always fight with everybody each time he came home drunk. She said his fights were always over trivial things like the one that led to the death of their beloved daughter. The brothers of the suspect also corroborated the reports of his wife saying the man flights with everyone of them in the family. The suspect has since fled the home after committing the crime while the victim has been buried after an autopsy was conducted.
